The land for your home is likely the most expensive line item for the entire project. Coastal Craftmen can assist in your selection and evaluation of land to ensure your new home is situated correctly and meets all applicable rules and regulations for the location.

Our master builders will be your advocate in the design process to ensure superior design and exceptional quality is built into your new home. They have advanced knowledge of construction methods, building systems and building codes to identify as many variables as possible that cause delays and cost overruns.

Our project management team will evaluate all sub-contract bids to establish the construction team for the project. We will review plans and written specifications with the design and construction team members to complete material selection and perform value engineering. This process will provide cost saving suggestions in the design using alternative components and materials that save money but meet your final design goals and objectives.

We collaborate with engineers, attorneys, and the project team to present the project to town officials in order to obtain permits for construction. Coastal Craftmen will coordinate all engineering disciplines required to gain municipal approval and ensure constructability.

Our estimators will develop a firm budget with multiple subcontract bids for each trade ready and able to complete the determined scope of work within the project budget. We will line up purchasing of materials and finalize subcontracts.

The construction management team will manage, schedule, supervise, and administer all aspects of the construction process as construction manager and/or general contractor, whichever arrangement works best for you the client.
